Young Jeff

Jeff is my grandson and this is the portrait of him from over 32 years ago.   During his teenage years and onwards, Jeff visited me often and we talked for hours about many subjects.  Mysticism, science and astrology were popular  topics.   I never did another portrait of him as he's a bit shy and was unlikely to sit still, not that he sat really still for this one.

This image is available online at http://whimsica.deviantart.com/art/Young-Jeff-145382638    and also imagekind and is called Young Jeff

Complete Works

This is still being compiled.  Once done, it will most likely be on you tube.  Eventually a book will be made as well as posters.  Make sure you subscribe to this blog so you can follow the updates and events.

The evolution of Dora the artist.

Dora, born in Luzern, Switzerland was born to be an artist and a mother.  A first class illustrator with a intuitive sense of color and composition, she put her artist life on hold to raise two children and it was not really until they were grown that she renewed her lifelong ambition to develop a collection.  She always did say to me that once she started painting, she would continue for hours and feared she would not be a good parent so...her children came first and her pictures came later, much later.
Using oils, acrylics, pastels and watercolors, she turned to impressionism and fantasy especially since she must have read every science fiction book that was in print.  This is what she focused on in her mature years.  Her inspiration came from the beauty of nature, landscapes and occasionally people and her vision is definitely in technicolor.
